"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers
Who I Work With:
I work with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, panic attacks, trauma, suicidal ideation, difficult family dynamics, and identity exploration. I am LGBTQIA+ supportive and welcome clients from all religious and spiritual backgrounds. I also have a special interest in TBI’s and aging/ dementia.
I especially enjoy working with clients who are self-aware or curious about understanding themselves more deeply.
How I Can Help:
I often take a Humanistic and Person-Centered approach, helping clients explore meaning, values, patterns, and the parts of themselves that are asking for care or attention. I also offer worksheets or homework if you are someone that prefers more structured support.
I am trauma-informed and collaborative, and won’t move faster than you are ready to go. Therapy works best when you are actively involved, so together we’ll identify patterns and experiences affecting your quality of life, relationships, or emotional well-being, and work to shift or heal what is no longer serving you.
Couples Therapy:
I love working with couples who want to strengthen their relationship, support one another more effectively, and deepen self-awareness. I am particularly impressed by couples who seek therapy proactively, while also understanding that many couples begin therapy during times of crisis.
Couples I work with often want to find ways of connecting more deeply with their partner. This may include better understanding differences, emotional sensitivities and wounds, and communication patterns they may want to gently adjust to work better for them.

A Friendly Face You Might See in the Office 🐶:
I may bring my therapy-dog-in-training, Timber, along when appropriate, as I believe having him around can support connection, regulation, and healing for some clients. If this is not a good fit for you, that is totally fine, just let me know.
💡 My goal is to help you feel supported in getting what you need and want from therapy. If you’re seeking something outside my scope or feel a different therapeutic fit would better serve you, I will gladly help connect you with appropriate resources or referrals.
